Meet Dr. Jenna McCarthy
Hi, I'm Dr. Jenna McCarthy—general dentist at Peak Dental Utah. I believe exceptional dentistry begins with building genuine relationships and helping every patient feel comfortable, informed, and confident throughout their care.
My approach is simple: listen first, personalize every treatment plan, and provide honest guidance so you can make the best decisions for your oral health. Whether you're here for a routine checkup or more advanced treatment, my goal is to create a positive experience where you always feel respected, supported, and truly cared for.
My Background
I grew up in Sacramento, California, and earned my Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from Roseman University here in Utah. After dental school, I completed a two-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency at Southern Illinois University in the St. Louis area, where I received advanced training in dental implants, oral surgery, pediatric dentistry, and comprehensive restorative care.
After completing my residency, I was excited to return to Utah and join the Peak Dental team, where I have the opportunity to serve patients in a welcoming community while providing comprehensive, patient-focused care.
My Philosophy
I believe every patient deserves care that's tailored to their unique needs, goals, and concerns. That's why I take the time to listen carefully, answer questions thoroughly, and ensure you feel comfortable with every step of your treatment.
My goal is to create an environment where you never feel rushed or uncertain. Together, we'll develop a treatment plan that prioritizes your long-term oral health while helping you feel confident and at ease throughout your dental journey.
Outside the Office
When I'm not caring for patients, you can usually find me:
- Exploring Utah's beautiful outdoors with my fiancé, Mitch
- Baking homemade sourdough bread
- Reading a good book
- Spending time at home with our three cats
I enjoy getting to know my patients beyond their smiles and look forward to building lasting relationships with individuals and families in our community.
